The Position Details

The Freelance Copywriter develops copy for a wide variety of projects across all products. This person will work on DreamLine’s websites, mobile apps, landing pages, email campaigns, and in-product messaging. The Content Strategist is responsible for product titles and descriptions for our eCommerce websites and assisting in sample management and preparation. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Create advertising or other copy that motivates readers or viewers.
  • Content Idealization: Produce a wide range of concepts and work with other creative team members to brainstorm content ideation as well as making content strategy improvements.
  • Create product descriptions for various clients following internal best practices and each brand’s individual voice. Copy includes facts such as features, colors, materials/fiber, care, measurements and additional information as needed.
  • Identify trends: Stay up to date on new content best practices
  • Edit and proof materials across the company. Ensure that content is well written and logically structured with correct grammar and spelling.
  • Consistently develop high quality written material across a variety of platforms: websites, social, video, print, mobile, online, etc.
  • Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy with a distinct voice

Position Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher in English, marketing, advertising, mass communication or other related fields from an accredited College/University
  • 1-3 Years of Content Creation or Copywriter experience
  • Flexibility in shifting between brand voice and content writing.
  • Comfortable verbally presenting ideas and showcasing work. Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic; adaptable to continuously changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
