Job Description

Pampas Brazilian Grille, an eight million dollar restaurant, is seeking Passadores (table-side meat carvers) that possesses outstanding business and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The candidate must be a self-starter and goal oriented in achieving outcomes that will generate revenue and control costs.


Summary of Position: 

Create the unique and exciting experience of Churrascaria-style dining to all of Pampas’ guests.  Carve meat selections tableside and deliver other orders.  Interact with guests on a consistent basis and ensure their expectations are exceeded. This is an ideal position for those wanting to transition from back of house to front of house.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all Passadore Core Service Standards
  • Drive promotions, distribute literature, and fill seats
  • Master knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Properly carve all items offered on Rodizio; promptly deliver seafood and other a la carte orders.
  • Perform side work at the beginning, middle, and end of each shift in order to maintain a clean and stocked work station.
  • Work effectively with a team to properly serve the guests. 
  • Be willing and able to assist servers as needed with food and beverage delivery and table maintenance as needed.
  • Be available to fill in other positions as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Any other tasks or projects dictated by management or business demand.



  • Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
  • Be able to lift (60 lbs), reach, bend and stoop.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (at least 8 hours).
  • Be able to walk for long periods of time (at least 8 hours)
  • Be able to safely use a knife.
  • Be able to cook meats on a grill, and determine proper cooking temperatures (rare, medium, well)
