Job Description

SUMMARY

To supervise the day to day activities of the Regional Operations team, providing guidance and tactical leadership ensuring the integrity of the network.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring 99.99% of power availability in the region.
  • Supervise teams to ensure 100% PPM compliance per cycle/schedule in the assigned region.
  • Managing and Overseeing the passive and overall site operations in the assigned region.
  • Monitoring spare parts allocation and requests.
  • Re-distribution and tracking usage of spares.
  • Diesel distribution and consumption monitoring.
  • Team planning, site dimensioning and resource allocation.
  •  Spot Check Analysis & Nonconformity reporting
  • Preparing Trouble Ticket Report.
  • Site failure root cause analysis and re-occurrence prevention plan.
  • Attending weekly customer review meetings, reports, and presentations, Performance Metrics (MTTR, MTBF, Failure rate, Fault counts, Network Availability).
  • Managing and coaching direct reports.
  • Ensuring Customer Satisfaction by ensuring that all customer complaints are appropriately followed through and closed out.
  • Enforcing high maintenance standard by ensuring that sites are clean, Logbooks are maintained, schedules are adhered to and all site processes are followed.
  • Conducting Power analysis and calculating load requirements and analyzing consumption.
  • Monthly PFR, Cost control and analysis, implementing cost-saving actions.

 

LOCATION

Must be willing to work in any of the States in Nigeria.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional qualification in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 6 (Six) years’ experience in Telecom, with a strong background in the telecoms industry preferably in Field Operations or Support capacity.
