Job Description


  • Manage the administration of property assets in possession or in the care of Receivers and/or property agents on behalf of the company.
  • Ensure that all property services are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Track progress in the sale, letting and administration of an asset.
  • Manage the sale of properties and achieve best market price available.
  • Ensure each property is ready for sale and on the market in the shortest time possible.
  • Understand the local property market for each property, what is/is not selling, review recent comparable sales and assess the expected market rate.
  • Prepare and present each case to Senior Management for agreement on Asking Price. Be able to discuss each property, its locality and the works, if any, required in detail.
  • Liaise on an on-going basis with estate agents regarding the status of property, interest from the general public, feedback regarding price/condition etc.
  • Review and interrogate valuation reports both on subject properties and reported comparables. 
  • Resolve any issues that would delay the marketing for let or sale of an asset.
  • Meet with Receivers and/or property agents as required to expedite the sales process. 
  • Manage the Offer Process.
  • Attend and report at internal meetings as required.
  • Oversee and approve expenditure required prior to assets being sold/let and ensure works undertaken in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Liaise with the accounts department, senior management and directors.
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise


Experience required

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a residential property manager with proven property management experience.
  • Property sales experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Good communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Good initiative with ability to work autonomously.
  • Must demonstrate multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse problems, creatively develop solutions and implement solutions to generate immediate results.
  • Strong PC and Excel skills.
  • Experience in managing third parties essential together with good relationship management/interpersonal skills.
  • Must have experience in a target driven environment, with ability to follow through on tasks.
