The Graphic Designer and the team

Working primarily on our print titles and events published in the U.S. you will collaborate with the editorial, sub-editors and production teams to ensure Citywire’s excellent creative standards are maintained. You will also have the confidence to bring your own personality and design flare into the work that you do at Citywire.

You would also work alongside the design team on other projects such as the evolution of our brand, events, supplements and other standalone/new products and services.

We work in an agile environment; working directly with stakeholders on a wide range of projects. You would gain exposure to the skills and ideas we have across all departments and every opportunity to develop your own skills.

Design is one of Citywire’s four core areas of expertise, combined with technology, content and audience analysis and we create products and services that professional investors depend upon.

  • Designing excellent feature spreads, infographics and front covers
  • Working closely with editorial, photographers and event teams  
  • Creating beautiful design concepts for new projects
  • Collaborate with the broader design team to design and produce event collateral
  • Work continually to keep your work fresh and evolving

What you’ll need

  • Degree qualification in Graphic Design

Excellent

  • Portfolio demonstrating print design and illustration or image making skills
  • Design software skills e.g. InDesign / Adobe Photoshop /  Illustrator
  • Artworking and making your design work print ready

Desirable

  • Other design disciplines – illustration and branding
  • A second or third language

  • Collaborative, within the design  team and the wider company
  • Able to take ownership of a task and see it through.
  • An eye for detail and personal pride in every piece of work produced

Professional Experience

  • Working on print publications, events, brochures and branding
