The Delegate Relationship Executive and the Audience Development team

Are you a social butterfly? Do you love meeting people and striking up conversation? We are looking for an enthusiastic relationship builder to join our client facing delegate team. You will be engaging with our existing clients and developing relationships with new ones, ensuring that we deliver high quality delegates to our events worldwide.  This role is ideal for an outgoing individual who enjoys meeting new people, being creative all while working within a bustling team.

When you join us…

  • To work with the Head of Delegate Management to coordinate recruitment for all events.
  • Liaise with Audience Development, Events, Editorial and Sales to promote and recruit for events.
  • Conduct telesales campaigns to invitees.
  • Deal with people from many different nationalities.
  • To listen to and understand the delegates and their needs and feedback this back inside Citywire.
  • To further develop our invitational channels (inc social media).
  • To help in the development of new event formats.
  • Travel to UK events and run ‘front of house’ at the events.
  • Help maintain UK events database
  • Build feedback reports from all UK events.
  • Build and send event invitations for UK events.
  • Have a good understanding of ACT database and help the delegate liaison team when required.

What you’ll need…

  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable dealing with people of all levels
  • Ability to multi-task
  • A positive, friendly telephone manner
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and off your own initiative
  • Experience working under pressure and to deadlines.
