The Receptionist and the Operations team

Our Receptionist is a vital spoke in the wheel that is our busy Operations Department. You'll often be the first person that employees and potential clients see, so you're always representing the company. You’ll need to be professional, presentable, approachable and helpful in nature. Punctuality is important in this role. 

This varied role will see you go from simply maintaining a switchboard through to international logistics management ensuring our multi million pound events go ahead as planned. Calm under pressure, you’ll enjoy solving problems and will work closely with the Office Manager to make our London office a fantastic place to work.

When you join us you will...

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls taking messages where necessary.
  • Welcome visitors and offer refreshments.
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area.
  • Coordinate couriers and track progress to ensure timely delivery at final destination.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail. Frank and place for collection all outgoing mail.
  • Ordering of office stationary supplies and refreshments.
  • Assist in general office administration, any ad-hoc duties, projects and activities as and when required.
  • Must be able to deal/assist with manual handling tasks such as receiving deliveries and assisting with events courier consignments - training will be provided.
  • Fire Marshall & First Aid duties - training will be provided.

What you’ll need:                                                                                                                                                                   


  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail
  • Time keeping and time management
  • Outgoing personality – not for the shy/timid. Located at the heart of the office everyone comes for a chat at reception!


  • An ambition to progress within the company.
  • Some experience in an office environment
