Activities are expected to include:

  • Design and Creative
    • Create content for distribution online, in attractive PDF formats
    • Create and maintain sales and landing pages associated with marketing site
    • Maintain marketing site
    • Create images for social media posts
    • Complete video and sound editing, or coordinate with third party service providers
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing
    • Draft email, website, blog post and social media copy and create or obtain appropriate images
    • Schedule, manage and execute email campaigns, blog and social media posts
    • Copywriting for marketing content
    • Research hashtags and recommended use
    • Maintain history of customer quotes; support development and documentation of customer success stories
  • Market Engagement
    • Engage with market leaders on social media to raise visibility and awareness of myBeeHyve, and pursue appropriate opportunities for market leaders to share and feature myBeeHyve to their community and followers.
    • Reachout to promote and book training events, speaking, guest blog and guest podcast opportunities for the Co-founders of myBeeHyve.
    • Invite potential customers to learn more about myBeeHyve.
    • Support virtual and live events.
  • Other activities and projects


These services will be provided on a part-time basis of approximately 10-20 hours per week. These services may be split among multiple people, based on individual skills and interests. The Marketing Assistant is expected to work primarily from their home office, and participate in regular conference and online video calls. The Marketing Assistant is expected to provide all equipment and software necessary to perform these duties.

Expected Experience and Skills:

  •        Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a relevant role
  •        Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills
  •        History of success in a virtual, fast-paced environment
  •        Strong time management and organizational skills, with a history of meeting deadlines and commitments
  •        Confident in use of current technology in an office environment, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, desktop sharing and video meetings
  •        Experience with digital marketing, social marketing and social media platforms
  •        Experience with WordPress, ActiveCampaign, Zoom and Calendly is a plus.
  •        Experience running a home-based business, direct sales, network marketing or MLM business is a plus
