Job Description

Motion Graphics Designer/Editor

Spherexx is seeking a full-time Motion Graphics Designer/Editor responsible for creating complete videos, as well as, designing elements within larger projects. This role is specifically responsible for creating informational software demos, training and marketing videos, but may be called upon to create additional graphic design assets including website design elements, social media graphics, web banner and marketing collateral. The right candidate must be creative, self-motivated and possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and deliver engaging training and marketing videos
  • Capture software demos using screen recording software
  • Design and execute motion graphics for video deliverables
  • Perform video editing and audio mixing
  • Assist in storyboard and script creation
  • Assist in creating and delivering a range of cross-platform video, print and digital work including website design assets, social media graphics, web banner and marketing collateral.
  • This is a full-time, onsite position (no remote or virtual work).

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher in related field or equivalent work experience
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Portfolio showcasing a motion design and video creation
  • Excellent sense of composition, layout, and design with a strong command of typography, grid systems, hierarchy, and other design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; ensure adequate utilization of time when booked in projects.
  • Ability to take direction and critiquing
