Job Description

Have you wondered just what SEO/digital marketing actually is?  Are you an English major?  If so- then we want YOU!  This position will work with clients of our web development and marketing services. This individual must have excellent communication and analytic skills. This job is full time and requires you develop a high level of technical web acumen, SEO (search engine optimization), Link Building and PPC (Pay Per Click) experience. GOOD NEWS is that we will train you if you come to us with some basic skills - like technical thinking, a basic understanding of HTML and the ability to write creative copy using keyword rich words. You will have a strong mentor assigned to you to ensure your success. This position also requires the ability to communicate technology concepts fluently with executives and account managers who may not be as technical. A high level of customer service excellence and the ability to be a self-starter and work independently is required. This individual will be the primary troubleshooter and definitive backstop for the challenging SEO and technical issues that the company encounters with its clients.

There will be extensive interaction with Google, Microsoft, Apple, Bing and Yahoo in getting client's websites ranked and consistently updated for "freshness and relevancy."  You'll work with small, medium and large clients including both privately owned and publicly traded companies.  This position requires you to office in our headquarters in south Tulsa. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all client communications, fulfillment coordination, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  • Make strategic decisions and recommendations (keyword research, conversion rate optimization, SEO, etc) and provide consultation accordingly
  • Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Project Managers of any problems that may arise.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
  • Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the upsell of www.spherexx.com/seo services including advertising agency opportunities to solve clients' needs.
  • Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
  • Understanding of social media and its role in search engine marketing.
  • Constantly learning and reading because this technology changes monthly!

Requirements:

  • Understanding of basic HTML
  • Significant familiarity with world wide web marketing initiatives
  • Technical competence (Microsoft Excel, web-based research tools, CPU proficiency, etc)
  • Motivated, goal oriented and persistent.
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meet and exceed performance KPI’s (key performance indicators) and traffic generation goals per client
  • Oversee paid campaigns on social media, CPC (cost per click) networks, retargeting, etc.
  • Build expert level skills with Google Analytics, Spherexx SEO Dashboard Tools, A|B Testing, Google Analytics & Other Proprietary Tools.
  • Ability to meet deadlines to reach client goals
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour
