Do you have a passion for all things social media? 1000Heads is on the hunt for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Melbourne. You’ll be our go-to person for developing and executing social media activity on behalf of our clients. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar position, with a working knowledge of paid social media processes, along with strong analytical and digital reporting skills.
This exciting role requires expert knowledge of the social space, including an understanding of how major and niche social platforms work, how ideas spread online, and how social platforms are being utilised effectively and innovatively across various industries.
The day-to-day of the job will be dynamic and varied, and will include tasks such as digital strategy ideation, research, copywriting, content/editorial calendar creation, liaison with influencers and other third parties (eg. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat), campaign tracking and reporting. You’ll also be responsible for online community facilitation - managing comments and sentiment from our audiences and proactively identifying issues. You’ll need plenty of initiative and creativity, in order to provide input into campaign strategy, identify opportunities for clients, and ensure our clients’ content aligns with their individual brand voices.
