As Community Manager, you will lead the charge on global social channels with social editorial planning and publishing, 1-2-1 community engagement, and developing bold and exciting ways to activate influencers and events on social.

You will plan and create social content strategies and editorial calendars, working directly with our Design team and Ideation team, to develop creative concepts and design briefs that deliver activations and social assets that take them on this journey.

You will work alongside our Paid Media team to assist with the amplification of our work. While you will not be expected to manage paid campaigns or budgets, you will help suggest formats and objectives. This is a great opportunity to learn a deeper understand of social paid media and with the opportunity to become more involved if skills or desire exists.

Outside of your day-to-day accounts, you will also have the opportunity to work on new business and projects, advise on the changing landscape of platforms and tools across our roster, be a go-to for social knowledge, and contribute to industry and social trend reports.

You will form part of an 18-strong passionate Community team who get together every other week to chat about the latest tech, campaigns, and trends they’ve seen.

The team sit at the heart of what we do at 1000heads, meaning you will work with every department from Insights to Production and help connect the dots to achieve award-winning work from the agency.

We kick start the week with a different themed breakfast every Monday and every Friday 5pm we down tools for 1000seconds, where the agency gets together over beers to catch-up on what’s been happening in the world via our Three Cool Things. There’s usually a birthday to celebrate with an obscure challenge (and shots) or just time to chill at the end of the week before heading to the local pub to hit the tab.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative copywriting and social publishing

Stimulating and sustaining conversations and relationships with a brand’s audience

Managing the day-to-day delivery of editorial, creative, and strategic plans

Building strong relationships with clients and identifying business development opportunities

Offering strategic thinking, creative spark, and commercial understanding to develop plans

Researching the latest social tools, platforms and trends – and working to ensure that we are the first to innovate and experiment

Delivering reports, performance tracking & trend analysis to clients

KEY SKILLS

An understanding of social media and its impact on brands

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An eye for creative content: both written and visual

The ability to think:

Creatively (capable of thinking differently and disruptively)

Strategically (able to analyse situations and see the big picture)

Intelligently (critical think that identifies gaps and fills them)

Excellent organisational, time management & team management skills

The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details

Proficiency in using a wide variety of social platforms and tools

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years agency experience working with social media

Experience working in a variety of industries or demonstration that you can quickly get under the skin of accounts that might be outside of you comfort zone or direct experience
