ROLE

Each Junior Social Media Executive that joins us on our initial 3-month programme will become part of our vibrant team of existing heads. You’ll assist in the development and management of our clients’ social communications – from copywriting, measuring social data to executing campaign strategy, across a changing landscape of digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

An average day would look like some of the below:

Client Services

Supporting/assisting in client meetings

Developing client and internal status reports

Contributing to campaign briefings

Building client relationships; listening to and understanding individual client requirements and consistently meeting if not exceeding their expectations; understand their brand(s) and customers

Keeping clients informed of campaign/project progress

Community

This role welcomes somebody who regularly has multiple social media apps open on their phone, knows a bang-on influencer post from a not-so-good ‘skinny tea’ sponsored post, and has a knack for getting across their personality in 140 characters. What you’ll be responsible for:

Creation of copy and other content for our clients’ social presences

Structuring social content into regular content calendars

Managing brand responses to comments from online communities

Optimising strategy to maximize positive (and neutralise negative) conversation around our clients

Using 1000heads’ research methodologies to identify people for our clients to build relationships with

Outreaching to these people in a unique, exciting and ethical way

Developing relationships with these people across different platforms

Planning and participating in experiential events

Insights

This role would interest anyone with an analytical mind-set, who wants to become an expert in social data collection and measurement and has the ambition to develop and implement measurement frameworks to evaluation brand’s social performance. This would include analysing brand campaigns, influencer activity, day-to-day channel performance, strategy implementation and crisis management reporting.

Reporting to clients on what is working and what is not

Providing suggestions to improve strategy based on reported insight

Assessment, analysis and interrogation of existing methods and processes

Reporting and presenting trending themes and strategies to clients

KPI tracking and reporting

General

Contributing to the vision and goals of the business by participating in awesome projects that benefit 1000heads as an agency

Anything else that is required to make amazing things happen for our projects and our clients

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in being a positive, passionate and energetic person is 100% necessary

Somebody who dabbles in writing, might have done a bit of blogging, or even jotted their way through a journalism degree would be spot on

Previous experience (big or small!) of planning & managing social presences gets you an extra brownie point

Excellent organizational and time management skills never go amiss!

Ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye for details is the kind of skill we love

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel

Proficiency in using a wide variety of social platforms (we see you, checking your Instagram 20 times a day!)

Excellent communication skills: we want you to be able to shine in front of everybody, from our big client stakeholders to the office DPD delivery driver

Proactive: self-motivated

Team-player: flexible and challenging

Fun to work with: spirited, willing to learn, willing to ask for help, willing to pipe up and share ideas and, of course, able to tell a good joke ;-)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Degree or equivalent experience (we welcome experience in all kinds of areas!)
