ROLE

We’re on the hunt for an awesome Creative Intern to join our buzzing central London creative department. You’ll need to be super passionate about all things creative and have some unique blossoming skills, but most importantly, be crazy excited to be part of an industry leader in Social and Word of Mouth marketing.

Solid creative thinking, problem solving and a love for social media are also heavily valued within this role. We are a passionate, proactive and close creative team, brimming with talent, enthusiasm and banter. We’re looking for someone who loves what they do and will bring their own brand of spark, vim and vigour to the agency. Time moves at the speed of light at 1000heads, but you’ll be working with the most talented bunch of individuals this side of the Moon landings.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES TYPICALLY INCLUDE:

In a nutshell you'll be working within the design and production teams on a massive range of projects and brands. Creatives at 1000heads are involved from the start of a brief right through to output. You’ll be involved in ideations, project development and creation of content in 2D, animation, video or whatever medium best suits you. You’ll also support our production team on a range of shoots. Ownership and passion are key at 1000heads, so we’re looking for a candidate with an insatiable drive to create award winning, innovative campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting designers to conceptualise a brief from issue through to artwork and implementation

Creative ideation and design thinking with the team

Delivering a range of creative work

Supporting the production team on shoots as a production assistant

Support the creative teams on a range of ad hoc tasks

Liaising with fellow team members, client service and community teams to deliver projects as a team

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience working on beauty and healthcare category brands is desirable

Account handling, creative development or client facing project management experience.

Able to effectively manage client relationships while delivering projects to the highest standard and on time and to budget

The ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively

Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity

Must have strong listening skills

Have an understanding of social media and its impact on brand

Excellent organizational and time management skills

The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye for detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Intrapreneurial, with a team-player approach and a can-do attitude to go with it. We value positive, proactive team members, eager to help, take on responsibility and able to work on their own initiative

Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and to understand the styles of a range of brands

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Meticulous attention to detail and a hunger for problem-solving

Design degree preferred but not essential

The start of a great portfolio and proven creative eye

Integrating yourself quickly into the agency, you’ll be hands on and a big help to everyone in the creative team

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Degree or equivalent experience (we welcome experience in all kinds of areas!)
