ROLE

The designer role is to interpret and implement the creative vision across a broad range of projects, ranging from digital, social, print, and some motion. Also, to provide support to the creative, studio and client services teams by being responsible for the day-to-day realisation of a variety of briefs including;

Visualisation (Photoshop mock-ups),

Finished-design (fully art-worked),

Digital (responsive design)

Illustration/storyboarding and animation

The role involves problem solving and creative thinking to a brief.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide support ensuring that all current projects are delivered in a creative, accurate, meticulously well designed, timely and cost effective manner

Responsible for presenting and selling the creative executions internally and to talk intelligently and confidently as to why your creative work is on strategy and on brief

Listening and learning at every opportunity and developing an awareness of integrated marketing communications, production, print and the digital process

Work smart: Liaise with Content Director on time management, commercial awareness of briefs and projects

To support the delivery of new business pitches

Display an active interest and have a natural curiosity in all things creative and take responsibility for your personal development by reading, attending seminars, exhibitions and asking questions

Any ad hoc duties as required by the company

Drawing/storyboarding:

Able to visualize and realize visuals that help tell the story to clients.

Creating consistent high-quality visuals that are hand-drawn

Design, art directing and Artworking:

To ensure that there is exceptional attention to detail in everything that you design and ensure design consistency for our client’s brands

Understand production requirements in order to effectively implement artwork

To be responsible for design and implementation of studio briefs with the support and guidance of the senior team on a daily basis.

To have an understanding of responsive design and able to implement that.

To successfully brief and direct photographers, illustrators and liaise with in-house videographers and developers in order to achieve the required standards

Creative thinking & problem solving:

Make recommendations and push boundaries to explore new creative solutions and improve quality of the creative work

To demonstrate the ability to develop and conceptualize a brief from issue through to Artwork and implementation

Responsible for working with the Content Director and wider team to interpret, interrogate and implement the creative idea to produce excellent creative work

Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications Required

  • Design degree preferred by not essential
